birthday cake recipe

i have had a request for the birthday cake recipe...i must admit...it was a midnight search...i didn't write it down...but i am pretty sure i used this: summer yellow cake (turned out white)

for the frosting i used a box of Cherrybrook chocolate frosting mix...i used the spectrum shortening instead of the butter...wonderful!! OH...they have a white mix, too...that with some blueberry juice made the most beautiful purplish color! the pamela's chocolate cake mix is the best so far (note i use ener-g egg replacer in all recipes)! but jaden wanted a white cake with chocolate icing...

well...my extremely irritating little brown dogs just escaped the back yard, and i hear them terrorizing my neighbors...sigh...

anybody wanna dog?
